Caregiver Support Groups
Redwood Caregiver Resource Center’s Caregiver Support Groups are for people who are involved with, or caregiving for, family, friends or loved ones who have brain-impaired conditions. To enable people to talk, listen and share concerns with people who are coping with similar situations. Services include: 1. Information and referral about brain disorders, community programs, etc. 2. Education, workshops and conferences for care providers and health care professionals 3. Newsletter and publications 4. Care planning and family consultation 5. Care giver support groups 6. Legal consultation with local attorney 7. Respite: Limited financial assistance for in-home aides, daycare, weekend respite Redwood Caregiver Resource Center is also part of area advocacy for program development
